Svalin Grane – Seawater Circulation Pumps

EPTEC delivered 2 new seawater pumps for installation on Svalin EPCI project at the Grane platform. The purpose of the pumps is to recirculate warmed up water from the cooling water outlet of 5th stage suction cooler (seawater shell side and dry gas tube side), into the seawater inlet line in order to warm up the seawater to 15°C. This is done in order to prevent hydrate formation in the gas phase. Pumps were delivered complete in Titanium Gr2 acc. MDS NORSOK 630 complete with Low Noise 24 kW motor manufactured by Loher

Total delivery consists of:

  • 2 off SPX/JPA vertical centrifugal in-line pumps type CRL 100A-160 acc. API 610 configuration OH3 with Low Noise 24 kW motor manufactured by Loher
